What problems should be paid attention to when assembling cardan shaft joint?

Assemble the cardan joint, pay attention to the following three points:
(1) the parts washed in clean dry after the wash oil, check again, cross axle shaft bearing, oil seal, thrust washer (some cars without the gasket) parts surface, should not have any defects.
(2) when the cross shaft is loaded into the universal joint fork, it should be noted that the cross shaft is equipped with grease. One side of the mouth faces the drive shaft, so as to add grease when it is in service.
(3) a thrust washer should be between the bearing seat gasket is positioned on the inner end surface and a cross axle head end bearing cap, tighten the fastening bolts, universal joint fork should be able to freely rotate in the cross axis, do not have the card lag phenomenon, also does not allow cross shaft axial clearance is the feeling. If there is an axial gap, the two end of the symmetrical neck shall be provided with a proper thickness of thrust washer or a thicker thrust washer, but the thickness of both sides of the shim shall be equal so as to keep the balance of the transmission shaft.
